Lucie, code name Lilly Pilly, our resident photographer is a raw,
but colourful spirit that shows through her images. With a range of artistic
talent starting with drawing, painting and working it’s way up to photography;
Lucie is not hard to find in our Burn City nightlife bouncing around on
our dance floors snapping night memories. She also contributes by promo
shoots, corporate events and her own personal stories through images.
Lilly Pilly started out with For The Record crew early 2011 through
a brief encounter with Louay at Lounge. After a few successful shots of
Louay on the decks at Lounge, Louay invited Lilly Pilly to take her bad
girl camera, Click, out for a spin at a For The Record gig at Loop, which was
very successful. This has become a new beginning for both Lilly Pilly Photography
and For The Record.
In July 2012, Lucie had the success of her first solo exhibition debuting
at Horse Bazaar. With her education in being two short courses, through Open
Family and Rotary House, when she was 17 years of age. Both ended in group
exhibitions, Hosier Lane City Lights and Center of Contemporary Photography (CCP)
with proceeds that are made from print sales going towards those who are in need.
